Revolutionary cell phone paging helps prevent lost pagers

Dallas, TX – Long Range Systems (LRS), the company that invented the popular coaster pagers seen in most restaurants, now presents another revolution in on-site paging service: Cell phone paging. Besides working with the company’s full line of guest pagers to let them know their table is ready, the T7450 and T7500 transmitters from LRS also page guests on their cell phones.

“Used by leading restaurants, cell-phone paging is ideal for malls, tourist areas, strip centers, waterfront restaurants or anywhere pager loss is a concern,” explains Jim Livingston, vice president of sales at LRS. “With cell-phone paging guests are never out off reach.”

Cell-phone paging is easy to use. During peak hours, when restaurants have a waiting list, the hostess simply enters a guest’s cell phone number into the transmitter. A few minutes before their table will be ready, it sends a customized voice message letting them know. It will even leave a message on their voicemail if they don’t answer. It also allows guest to notify the hostess if they won’t be returning.

For more information, call LRS at 1-800-437-4996, or visit their website at www.lrsaustralia.com.au. Cell phone paging is just one of a full line of hospitality performance products from LRS.

LRS has been the innovation leader in guest and server paging and management systems since 1993.
